The Old Town Bridge Tower was built in the 14th century in a Gothic style. There are a set of narrow steps which you can take to the top which will present a view across Prague.
On this morning, I wanted a view of the sunrise behind the tower. As I had been up till 12am the previous night taking night shots across the Vltava, I just couldn’t get myself out of bed at 3am for the blue hour. So this is the transition into the morning golden hour.
I had just enough time to fire off a few shots before the street lights were turned off.
The flooding that had occurred a few weeks early slightly damaged the Charles Bridge. The lights under the bridge did not illuminate at night and half of the walkway was cordoned off by barriers. Getting a clean long view of the bridge was out of the question, so I settled for what was on offer.
